You are
  • You are passionate about lasers

  • You have received a university or technical college degree in the field of photonics, physics, physical science, life science or chemistry
  • You have 0 – 50 years of work experience in optics or photonics
  • You have a hands-on attitude and like to get things done

  • You have practical experience with ultrafast laser alignment and measurement techniques
  • You bring in skills in programming and data processing or are eager to learn those
Your role
  • You produce, test and install customer-specific laser products based on optical parametric chirped-pulse amplifiers (OPCPA)
  • You measure laser parameters, such as average power, spectrum, beam quality and pulse duration
  • You execute production protocols and quality assessment
  • You closely work with our experienced design and engineering team to optimize products and production processes
  • You get the chance to work on our internal development projects
  • You meet our worldwide customers to install laser systems and discuss new product solutions and services
  • You support our customers via remote or on-site services

  • Du lötest, krimpst, bestückst und verkabelst unsere Elektronikmodule
  • Du testest und prüfst Leitungen, Bestückung, Verbindung und Dichtheit unserer Systeme
  • Du dokumentierst deine Arbeit und unseren Fortschritt
  • Du unterstützt uns in der Lagerwirtschaft

Purchaser (f/m/d)
Your responsibilities
  • Determining the required goods and generating purchase orders
  • Creating a forecast for the required goods, based on the the available stock
  • Initiate purchase orders for required goods and items that have reached the reorder level
  • Coordinating with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, supplier payments, etc.
  • Track the production levels and adjust the goods order levels accordingly
  • Scheduling and overseeing the supply and the delivery of the goods
  • Coordinate with maintenance planning, production, stores and supply chain to expedite the delivery and the movement of the parts within the facility
  • Review the minimum stock levels and have it adjusted based on the forecast and the lead time of the parts
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports pertaining to status of inventory levels
  • Support our production team with inventory management
  • Organize shipments of incoming and outgoing goods and coordinate with our carrier companies and customers
  • Communicate with vendors to report and resolve discrepancies (in English and German)
Who we are looking for
    • Bachelor degree in economics or technical studies, ideally combined
    • Ideally 3 years of professional experience in purchasing
    • Exceptional organization and time management skills combined with a high aptitude for numbers
    • Strong knowledge of MS Office and particularly strong MS Excel Skills
    • Excellent communication and administrative skills in English and German
    • Independent, structured approach to work combined with a high level of detail orientation
    • Ability to prioritize, organize and plan tasks and exceptional problem-solving skills
