CONFERENCES AMERICA 2024

SPIE Photonics West 2024. California

January 27 – February 1, 2024 

Photonics West is a premier international conference and exhibition organized by SPIE, focusing on optics and photonics. Held annually in San Francisco, it gathers professionals, researchers, and industry leaders to discuss advancements in biomedical optics, lasers, optoelectronics, micro/nanotechnologies, sensors, and quantum technologies. The conference includes technical sessions, plenary talks, and an exhibition, serving as a hub for networking and staying abreast of the latest developments in the field.

Class 5 Photonics will be actively participating in BIOS Expo: 27-28 Jan. at booth #8202 and Photonics West Conference 2024 at booth #4205-09. As part of our contributions, Jan Heye Buss will present a talk titled ‘Advancements in High-Flux High-Harmonic Generation: Harnessing Advanced Nonlinear Laser Technologies’ on January 31, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM PST at Moscone Center, Room 210 (Level 2 South). Max Planck. Advanced Neuroimaging Techniques Course, Florida

February 5 – 17, 2024

This intensive laboratory-oriented course comprehensively explores imaging techniques in neuroscience research. Aimed at individuals involved in neuroscience research, including graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career investigators, the course covers the principles of optics and their applications in modern neuroscience. The format includes morning lectures and afternoon/evening laboratory sessions. Participants rotate through all sections initially and subsequently focus on one primary section, with an optional section, for the duration of the course.

Students will gain proficiency in three-photon microscopy techniques using the White Dwarf dual Class 5 Laser. This advanced system facilitates deep-tissue imaging with red and green markers, providing a comprehensive understanding of cutting-edge imaging technologies.

The 10th International Conference on Ultrahigh Intensity Lasers (ICUIL 2024) is scheduled to be held on Cozumel Island, Mexico, from September 9th to 13th, 2024. This event, set against the serene backdrop of the Caribbean Sea, will continue the tradition of serving as a key platform for researchers to share advancements in ultrahigh-intensity laser science and technology. Notably, ICUIL 2024 is particularly significant, being the first in its series to take place in Latin America.
